Ingredients

Scale

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

3/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

2 teaspoons dried Italian herb seasoning

6 (4 ounce) chicken breast cutlets

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 1/2 tablespoons minced fresh garlic

1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth

fresh parsley, for garnish

2.Heat oil and butter in a large skillet. Cook cutlets until browned, 3-4 minutes per side. Remove to a plate.

3.Add garlic to the skillet; sauté until fragrant. Stir in chicken broth and bring to a boil.

4.Add chicken back to the skillet and cook until internal temperature reaches 165°F.

5.Remove chicken, reduce pan sauce for 1-2 minutes, and pour over chicken.

6.Garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Use chicken breasts if cutlets aren’t available.

Add lemon for extra brightness.

Ensure internal temperature reaches 165°F.
