4 bone-in chicken breasts
1/2 medium onion, chopped
1 tablespoon melted butter
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 1/2 teaspoons smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons distilled white vinegar
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1.Remove skin from chicken and place in slow cooker.
2.Sprinkle with onion.
3.Whisk butter, oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and liquid smoke; pour over chicken.
4.Cook on LOW for 5 hours or HIGH for 3 hours.
5.Whisk sauce ingredients in a bowl; refrigerate.
6.Shred chicken, discarding bones; mix with 1/4 cup cooking liquid and prepared sauce.
